No. Our skilled technicians provide all nessacary products and equiptment.
How long does disinfectant fogging last?
Does disinfectant fogging COVID-19?
How much time after the fogging process is complete is needed before I am allowed to enter the space?
The Antimicrobial Protective Coating that we use is most effective when allowed to air dry. The average amount of time needed to complete the air drying process is 15-30 minutes. This amount of time could be prolonged by things such as weather or humidity. After the coating has dried, you are welcome to enter the space and resume business as usual.
Is the Antimicrobial Protective Coating visible, or will it leave a film on my surfaces?
The short answer is no. The Antimicrobial is an invisible coating and should leave your space
looking the same as before we entered. The exception to this might be windows and glass. Our expert & dedicated team goes above and beyond with attention to detail. After the fogging process is complete, our team performs a final walk-through. At this time, we ensure all "high-shine" & reflective surfaces like mirrors and glass are wiped down and polished back to their original state. When we leave your space, the only difference you should notice is peace of mind. And a space free of harmful pathogens, a certificate of disinfection, and a lot of "thank yous" from friends, family, employees, and customers for making their health and safety a top priority.
How long does the fogging process take?
We understand that time is important to you. We pride ourselves on not only being thorough but also timely. The fogging process time is dependent on the square footage of your space. In most cases, anything 5,000 square feet or less only takes us an hour or less. If you have a large facility, we will give you an estimated time before you book your fogging service.
How should I prepare before What Duh Fog arrives?
To ensure we give you the best possible service, we request a few things to prepare for your
● Make sure any open food/drink is put away or sealed shut. Although our products are
food safe, we don't recommend eating or drinking anything that has exposed to our
formulas as an extra precaution.
● Putting away or weighing down any loose papers or materials. The type of fogging
process we use requires pressurized air. Storing lightweight items like paper helps us
maintain a steady fog application, which allows us to apply our coating more evenly to all
surfaces, including walls, ceiling, vents, and furnishing.
● Turn on your air conditioning or air circulation system. When your air is running while we
are applying our products, your HVAC system's circulation will pull our fog into your
system. Circulating your air in this fashion is a great way to make sure your vents and
filtration systems have been disinfected and coated.
I'm already disinfecting multiple times daily, why would I also use What Duh Fog services?
Our services differ from disinfects that you use daily in many ways.
First, our products are not harmful. Many disinfects are detrimental to your skin, the air you breathe, and can also be extremely harmful to people with chemical sensitivities. We work side by side with the EPA to make sure that our products are not only effective but also safe.
Third, our products are long-lasting. Long-lasting means that surfaces in your space have
protection from harmful pathogens for an extended period.
Fourth, we allow you to focus on your business. Time is valuable, and disinfecting every surface in your space multiple times throughout the day requires you to be pulled away from things that might be more important.
Fifth, disinfectants, applied correctly, require that they remain wet on a surface for ten minutes or more to be effective and only remain active for a few hours. By using these traditional disinfectants, you might be killing existing pathogens in your space. However, it is not protecting you from any germs that enter that area after you've disinfected. Lastly, our products go beyond protecting you from illnesses. Our Antimicrobial Protective Coating also fights many other pathogens like mold, fungi, odors, and even allergens!
